The Hot Sauce Kit Tutorial

Garden Hot Sauce (Mild Spicy)

  • Gather your tools and ingredients: You will need a Large Bowl, a Blender, Sugar, Salt, and Vinegar.
  • Rinse and cut the tops off your Anaheim, Guajillo and Chipotle Chiles, and then coarsely chop them up.
  • Place the chopped chiles in a large bowl. Heat 1 - 1/2 cups (12 oz.) of Water to boiling, then pour it over the chiles.
  • Let your chiles soak in the water for about 10 - 15 minutes. 
  • Add in 1/4 cup of Vinegar (or Apple Cider Vinegar) into the bowl. You may add up to 1/3 cup if you prefer a more vinegar flavor in your hot sauce.
  • Add 2 tbsp of the Secret Spice Blend, 1/2 tbsp to 1 tbsp of sugar (depending on desired sweetness), and 1/2 tsp of Salt into the bowl.
  • Pour the mixture into a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Season to taste with salt and sugar.
  • Pour the hot sauce into the sauce bottles (2 large ones and 2 small ones) and put the caps on.


Caribbean Hot Sauce (Medium Spicy)
  • Gather your tools and ingredients: You will need a Large Bowl, a Blender, Sugar, Salt, and Vinegar.
  • Rinse your Habanero, Pequin Chiles, Dried Mango and Pineapple. Place them in a large bowl.
  • Heat 1 - 1/2 cups (12 oz.) of Water to boiling, then pour it over the chiles and dried fruits.
  • Let your chiles and dried fruits soak in the water for about 10 - 15 minutes. 
  • Add in 1/4 cup of Vinegar (or Apple Cider Vinegar) into the bowl. You may add up to 1/3 cup if you prefer a more vinegar flavor in your hot sauce.
  • Add 2 tbsp of the Secret Spice Blend, 1/2 tbsp to 1 tbsp of sugar (depending on desired sweetness), and 1/2 tsp of Salt into the bowl.

The Ultimate Ghost Hot Sauce (Extra Spicy)
  • Gather your tools and ingredients: You will need a Large Bowl, a Blender, Sugar, Salt, and Vinegar.
  • Rinse your Habanero, Ghost, and Ancho Chiles, and then cup the top off the Ancho Chili.
  • Place the chiles in a large bowl. Heat 1 - 1/2 cups (12 oz.) of Water to boiling, then pour it over the chiles.
  • Let your chiles soak in the water for about 10 - 15 minutes. 
  • Add in 1/4 cup of Vinegar (or Apple Cider Vinegar) into the bowl. You may add up to 1/3 cup if you prefer a more vinegar flavor in your hot sauce.
